Reading a pay table, line by line

Published 24 October 2026 · Pixtavia team

The three table games on Pixtavia are the ones where your choices change how things go over time. Each has a short table on its page. This guide walks through them in order, with a note on how people usually play each one.

"Returns" means everything back

Our tables say what a result returns, including the stake. "Returns 2×" on a stake of 50 means 100 points come back: your 50 and 50 more. "Returns 1×" means your stake comes back and nothing else. Writing it this way avoids the old confusion between "pays 1 to 1" and "pays 2 for 1".

Velvet Draw

The lowest hand that returns anything is a pair of jacks, queens, kings or aces, which returns the stake. Two pair returns twice the stake, three of a kind three times, and the table climbs to a royal flush at 800 times.

  • Keep any paying hand you are dealt, unless four cards to a royal flush are in front of you.
  • A pair of jacks or better is almost always worth more than chasing a flush or a straight.
  • With nothing at all, keep high cards of the same suit rather than redrawing all five.

Midnight 21

A hand closer to 21 than the dealer's returns twice the stake, a two-card 21 returns two and a half times, and equal totals return the stake. The usual starting points:

  • Stand on hard 17 or more. Hit on 11 or less.
  • With 12 to 16, stand if the dealer shows 2 to 6 and hit if the dealer shows 7 or higher.
  • Double on 10 or 11 when the dealer's card is lower than yours. Always split aces and eights; never split tens or fives.

Prism Roulette

Here choices change nothing about the long run. Every bet on the single-zero wheel has the same average return, because the zero belongs to none of them. A single number returns 36 times the chip when it lands; red returns twice the chip about half the time. The difference is only how bumpy the ride feels.

Pixtavia is for entertainment only. No real money play, no prizes of monetary value, and nothing to buy. Playing or success here does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
