Privacy notice

Pixtavia is built to collect as little as possible. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party trackers. This notice explains the little we do handle.

1. Who we are

The data controller for pixtavia.com is Pullaiah Suryadevara, Operator of pixtavia.com, Darmstädter Landstraße 184, 60598 Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Write to privacy@pixtavia.com about anything in this notice. Because the controller is based in Germany, both the UK GDPR and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply to the data described here.

2. What stays on your device

Your age answer, your cookie choice, your practice points, level, trophies, nickname and settings are kept in your browser's storage. They are never sent to us. The cookie policy lists every key we use. You can delete them from your profile or your browser at any time.

3. What reaches our server

Like any website, our host receives technical request data when pages load: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. It is used only to deliver the site and keep it secure, and server logs are deleted after 30 days.

4. Contact messages

If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply. To limit abuse, the form stores a one-way scrambled code derived from your IP address, never the address itself.

5. Lawful basis

Under UK GDPR we rely on legitimate interests to run and secure the site and to answer messages you send, and on your consent for keeping game progress in your browser beyond the current tab. You can withdraw consent at any time through "Cookie settings".

6. Sharing

We do not sell or share personal data. Our hosting provider processes request data on our behalf under a written contract. We would disclose information only if the law required it. Messages you send are handled in the European Union; the UK recognises the EU as giving an adequate level of protection, so no further safeguards are needed for that transfer.

7. How long we keep it

Server logs: 30 days. Contact messages: up to 12 months after the conversation ends. Data in your browser: until you delete it.

8. Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, or to the data protection authority of the German state of Hesse, Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, at datenschutz.hessen.de.

9. Children

Pixtavia is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly handle data about children. If you believe a child has contacted us, tell us and we will delete the message.

10. Changes

If this notice changes we will update the date at the top of the page and, for significant changes, mention it on the updates page.
